Leading a team or an organisation is both a privilege and a challenge. Creating change is both exciting and difficult.  In a world of paradox, creating the time to think and reflect for you or your team is crucial to making good decisions and being successful. In this workshop, Gary will explore how team leadership is changing and how we as leaders need to respond in order to keep our colleagues inspired, motivated and productive. 

 

In this practical three part workshop, Gary will share some tools for you to gain new perspectives on how your team operate, as well as identify opportunities for creating change that free up more of your time to focus on the bigger issues.

Session 2: Weds 23rd 14:00-16:00

Session 3: Tue 29th 14:00-16:00

About Gary Buxton

Gary has worked in the social impact sector for 20 years and was Founding Chief Executive of the national youth charity Young Advisors.  He formed the organisation in 2006 and over 7 years, grew the organisation through a social franchising model to employ over 1,500 across 55 locations nationally. In recognition of the evolving commissioning landscape, in 2015, Gary took the inaugural Director of Youth Services role with Ingeus, a global B-Corp to establish their service offer for young people.  In addition to mobilising a UK contract portfolio of £70 million, Gary designed programmes for Ingeus internationally.

 

As a qualified and internationally credentialed Executive Coach with a degree in Psychology and additional complimentary qualifications in Action Learning, Psychometrics, Project Management and Facilitation, Gary brings both technical and experiential insights into his coaching practice.
