So... Where to start?
I've had some great opportunities for learning throughout my career. I've set up an organisation from scratch and grown it to employ over 1,500 people giving me first hand insight into the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur.
I've set up a new division in an international business and mobilised complex multi-million pound contracts which have involved thousands of staff and coordinating the activity of over thirty supply chain organisations. Through these experiences I've recognised the importance of leading beyond my authority and developing senior leaders and technical experts to deliver market leading performance.
As a psychology graduate, qualified executive coach and able to deliver psychometrics in both ability and personality, I can offer a comprehensive coaching experience for people looking to deliver their best in life and work.
I am a Clore Social Leadership Fellow in recognition for my work in the social impact sector and I was awarded an MBE by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 2014 for my Services to the Young People of England.
I am a Non Exec Director & Governor of the University of Manchester and supporting the strategy and governance of the largest Russell Group University, turning over £1bn with 12k staff and over 40k students is a huge privilege.
I love the outdoors, walking, camping and taking adventures in a camper van, so much so I am also a co-owner of Manchester Camper Hire. I sometimes combine the two ventures for leadership/coaching retreats, so watch this space!
I still support the Charity I formed in 2006, Young Advisors, which trains and supports young people to improve their local communities. It was during my time as founding CEO at Young Advisors that I launched a legal challenge with the Charity Commission to enable young people aged 16-18 to become trustees, making Young Advisors the first youth led charity in the UK to have trustees aged under 18.
