Accessibility Policy
Hi, I’m Gary Buxton. I’m committed to making my coaching practice as accessible and inclusive as possible for everyone.
I know that no two people think, process, or experience the world in the same way. That’s not a barrier, it’s a reality I welcome. In my practice, I take an inclusive, accessible and neuro-affirmative approach: recognising and respecting the many different ways that brains and bodies work, and working together with you to understand what helps you engage meaningfully and feel psychologically safe.
How I aim to support accessibility
I’m committed to ensuring that:
-
My website and resources are as easy to navigate and use as possible. If you need anything in a different format, large print, audio, more visual layout, I’ll do my best to provide it.
-
My coaching sessions, whether online or in-person, are tailored to you. That might mean agreeing on communication preferences, session length or structure, or simply exploring what kind of pace and style works best for your learning and reflection.
-
I remain open and responsive. Accessibility is an ongoing process and I welcome your feedback and suggestions for how I can improve.
Website and Digital Content
I’ve designed my website to be compatible with screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom functions, and high contrast settings. I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. If you notice something doesn't work well, feel free to let me know and I'll do my best to make changes.
Coaching Experience
I offer both virtual and in-person sessions. If we’re meeting in person, I’ll always do my best to make sure the space is physically accessible. Let me know in advance if there’s anything you need, like step-free access, seating options, or sensory-friendly arrangements. If meeting virtually, I have a zoom account that will allow live transcription, just let me know and I can switch it on.
Neurodiversity and Communication
You don’t need to mask, adapt, or justify how you process or relate. Whether you prefer visual thinking, need more time to reflect, benefit from breaks, or have specific preferences around how we communicate, we’ll talk about it and agree on how to make coaching work for you.
Feedback and Contact
If there’s anything you’ve found difficult to access, or if you’d like information in a different format, just get in touch. I’ll always do my best to help.
