Green Policy
Purpose
This policy sets out my commitment to environmental sustainability, and the steps I actively take to reduce the ecological impact of my coaching and training practice.
1. Renewable Energy
-
Since August 2025, my office is powered by 100% renewable electricity generated through my investment in the Derril Water cooperative, supporting local, community-based energy production.
-
Prior to this, I used a certified green energy tariff provided by Octopus Energy, ensuring responsible sourcing from renewable suppliers.
2. Sustainable Travel
-
I have used an all-electric vehicle since 2019, reducing reliance on fossil fuels for client work and business travel.
-
Wherever practicable, I choose public transport, with a preference for electric-powered services when available.
3. Waste Reduction and Digital Resources
-
I follow the reduce, reuse, recycle hierarchy across my operations.
-
Wherever possible, I design and deliver coaching and training using digital resources, reducing the need for printed materials, shipping, or travel.
-
Where physical materials are required, I prioritise recycled or low-impact options.
4. Commitment and Continuous Improvement
This policy reflects my commitment to aligning professional practice with environmental responsibility. I continue to explore opportunities for reducing my environmental impact and welcome dialogue with clients and collaborators who are also working towards a greener future.
