Macclesfield Forest walk: Meeting place and Time

Our next walk is taking place in the Macclesfield Forest and Sarah Teagle is going to be our guide. The walk will take about 2 hours and involves a little bit of up at the beginning.

Meet at the detached stone house on the right of The Leather's Smithy Pub in Macclesfield Forest on Clarke Lane, parking is on the road by the reservoir (don't park in the pub car park).  You can use postcode SK11 0NE for sat nav to get there.  (You need to park in the white lined parking booths on the road to avoid a ticket.) If no spaces near the pub there are more along the road by the reservoir.

What happens?

We all meet and do some quick introductions and then set off. Gary will bring along some supervision cards, so if people fancy using the time for some peer supervision, the cards can offer you a nice way to reflect on your practice.

The event is free (unless you go to the cafe/pub)

What to bring?

Whilst the walk isn't technical and is entirely along footpaths, it can get muddy, so I'd recommend walking boots for the puddles and a waterproof in case it rains.
