Glossop Walk: Meeting place and Time
Next Glossop Walk is Friday 3rd May 2024 from 11am.

The walk starts from Goddard Lane, Hadfield, Glossop SK13 1HW at 11:00. There's free on street parking at the beginning of the walk.
The full walk is about 9km taking in three reservoirs. It's mostly flat and not too challenging and a great walk for dogs. For those who prefer something a little shorter, there are two opportunities to miss out one or two of the reservoirs and to make the walk as short as 3km or 6.25km. We find that the full walk takes about 2 hours from setting off.
What happens?
We all meet and do some quick introductions and then set off. I'll bring along some supervision cards, so if people fancy using the time for some peer supervision, the cards can offer you a nice way to reflect on your practice.

Once we get to the end of the walk, there's a local cafe called PixieBakes for any of those who fancy tea and cake before going home.

The event is free (unless you buy a cake) and if it goes well, I'll sort out another one for the summer!
What to bring?
Whilst the walk isn't technical and is entirely along footpaths, it can get muddy, so I'd recommend walking boots for the puddles and a waterproof in case it rains and sunblock if it's sunny!
