Well, the silent retreat has concluded, and I loved it! I really felt like I couldn't write anything that would do it justice, so recorded a video as I was leaving instead. Above is a photo from part of the gardens to give you an idea of the idyllic setting.
All the preparation was worth it and I can now go from plank to warrior (yoga moves) without falling over or needing to do some hand-moving-kneeling-action before getting upright!
Edward, Clare, Claire, Jenny and all of the team were perfect hosts from beginning to end and the whole experience flowed with an ease which I think is a testament to how much work they put into organising it!
Thoroughly recommend the experience to anyone who's curious about the power of silence!
Right, back to the real world!
