Thomas Cook Pro-bono Support
Losing your job with no notice is a devastating blow and with over 9,000 UK Thomas Cook employees affected by the recent collapse of an organisation that has existed for 178 years there are many people who face huge uncertainty over this next few days and weeks.

There are already some great initiatives springing up already such as these from The Growth Company and Jobs4Thomas Cook but knowing that many of those affected live in or near Greater Manchester, we wanted to offer something little bit different.
A team of Executive Coaches and HR professionals (listed below) offered their time to TC employees on a pro-bono basis. At the end of the campaign, we were able to offer over 660 hours of free Exec Coaching to help the TC team to get a new job. As part of the campaign, some of our volunteers have also offered workshops or events. See below for more details and to sign up. Want to know more about the campaign? Check out our blog.

New Workshops Released

Workshop 1
Allan Mole from Talk Talk is hosting a workshop at their offices at Soapworks, Ordsall Lane, Salford M5 3TT on Friday 11th October from 10am-4pm.
Light refreshments will be made available but you will need to provide your own lunch, either bring something with you or there are facilities close by where you can purchase something.
Workshop content outline:
This one day interactive workshop is designed to help you gain a confident communication style, boosting your personal impact and influence for those important next steps in your career. The workshop will enable you to:

Create an engaging communication style, bringing to life everything you say with extra influence, authority and presence

Develop the skills needed to give you a new level of confidence to create a powerful impact

Enhance and refine your personal brand to maximise its effectiveness

Understand why people behave the way they do, and be able to identify different social styles to allow you to tailor your approach when speaking to them

The second workshop is being hosted by Emily Knowles and colleagues at The Coop on Monday 14th October 11.30am – 1.30pm, at The Fede​ration, 2 Federation Street, M4 4BF (this is their digital office).
